Our Mission
BK Chess was founded to give young chess players in Brooklyn a place to grow. We specialize in small, intimate tournaments designed for developing players — safe, supportive events where kids can gain real tournament experience in a low-pressure setting.
- Open to: Students in 5th grade or younger
- Rating: Under 1200
- Format: USCF-rated quad events
- Capacity: Maximum of 30 players
- Experience: Every child gets the attention and encouragement they deserve

Designed for students in 5th grade or younger, rated under 1200. A perfect fit for beginners and early intermediate players.
USCF Rated
All tournaments are officially rated by the United States Chess Federation, giving players real competitive experience.
Small & Supportive
Maximum 30 players per event. Our intimate quad format ensures a comfortable, low-pressure environment.
